Q2 Local Outreach: Volunteer at Phoenix ReStore w/ Habitat for Humanity
As part of our commitment to giving back, the Heart of Sol Foundation is excited to host our Quarter 2 Local Outreach! This initiative is an opportunity to join together with families, friends, colleagues, and peers to support another organization in achieving their mission.
For this quarter, we will be volunteering at Phoenix ReStore, a part of Habitat for Humanity. Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building safe, decent, and affordable homes, as well as making critical repairs and improvements for families in Central Arizona. This is a hands-on opportunity to make a meaningful impact in our community while working alongside like-minded individuals who share a passion for service. Come help us make a difference and experience the joy of giving back!
Volunteer Tasks May Include:
Receiving and sorting donations
Labeling and processing items
Merchandising and restocking
Assisting staff with bagging and customer support
General cleaning and organizing
Filling rug racks
Assembling or deconstructing furniture
This is a hands-on opportunity to make a meaningful impact in our community while working alongside like-minded individuals who share a passion for service. Come help us make a difference and experience the joy of giving back!
What to Wear:
Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
Closed-toe and closed-heel shoes
Jeans or long shorts (no short shorts or tank tops, please)
No AirPods or headphones while volunteering
What to Bring:
Bottled water
Snacks (optional)
Personal tools/protective gear if preferred (must be taken home after your shift)

Q1 Local Outreach: Meal Packing at Feed My Starving Children
Celebrate the first quarter of the year with us as we volunteer our time packing meals for an organization Feed My Starving Children (FMSC). FMSC is a Christian nonprofit that believes hope starts with food. FMSC is dedicated to seeing every child whole in body and spirit. This organization works with food distribution partners that stay with communities for the long haul, empowering them to move from relief to development. Heart of Sol Foundation has reserved 25 volunteer spots. Our group will be packing as many meals as we can in the 2 hour time slot we are given to send off to a country that will be assigned to us. Watch a video: FMSC’s Meal Packing Process

Philippines Outreach Missions Trip
The Heart of Sol Foundation team is excited to spend a week in Angeles City, Philippines, bringing support, resources, and encouragement to local children and families.
School Supply Gifting
Monday January 19, 2026
Provide students with school supplies and other essential learning tools to help set them up for success at San Francisco Conception Tarlac Elementary School.
Meal Donation
Wednesday January 21, 2026
Give meals to indigent children, ensuring they are nourished and empowered to learn and grow at the Barangay Aquino Day Care.
This trip is about more than giving items. It’s also about connecting with the community, inspiring hope, and creating opportunities that empower children to reach their full potential. Through these efforts, Heart of Sol Foundation continues its mission to uplift communities and make education and basic needs accessible to all.
Christmas Homeless Outreach 2025
On December 10th, 2025 Heart of Sol Foundation brought warmth, care, and essential supplies to the homeless community in downtown Phoenix. Volunteers and team members came together to distribute donuts, coffee, water, blankets, and clothing to those in need.
This outreach was about more than just providing items. It was an opportunity to connect, listen, and show compassion to members of our community who are often overlooked. Heart of Sol Foundation is committed to making a positive impact, one act of kindness at a time, and this event was a meaningful step toward supporting and uplifting those facing homelessness.
