Our Mission

At Heart of Sol Foundation, we invest in the development of underprivileged children, individuals, and families by equipping and leading them into their personal mission. We believe in a world that is hopeful, life-giving, and purposeful. Alignment with purpose guides how we act, decide, and contribute.

Heart of Sol Foundation was founded in August 2025 from a deeply personal journey - one shaped by resilience, purpose, and the belief that where you begin does not define how far you can go.

Our founder, Sol Tinio, immigrated to the United States from the Philippines with her mother. They arrived with a backpack, twenty dollars, and a dream - carrying hope, determination, and an unshakable belief in possibility. Raised in Arizona, Sol grew up learning firsthand what it means to start with limited resources, to adapt, and to build a life through perseverance, faith, and hard work.

That journey instilled a core belief that continues to guide Heart of Sol Foundation today: when you work hard, maintain a positive mindset, and stay focused on your path and your purpose, anything is possible.

In August 2025, that belief came into sharper focus when our founder was crowned Miss Philippines USA 1st Runner-Up 2025 and Miss Philippines USA Tourism 2025. The experience served as a powerful reminder that visibility carries responsibility; success is most meaningful when it is used to uplift others. It became the catalyst to transform personal experience into purposeful action.

Heart of Sol Foundation was created to empower individuals who feel called to something greater but may not have opportunities readily handed to them. We recognize that talent, purpose, and potential exist everywhere, but access does not. Our work is rooted in creating pathways for those who are ready to step into their calling but need support, guidance, and encouragement to do so.

We believe change does not always begin with grand gestures. Often, it begins with one person choosing to believe in themselves, stay focused on their mission, and take the next brave step forward. Those choices create a ripple effect; one that extends far beyond a single life.

As a newly founded nonprofit, our story is still unfolding. We are excited to take action and see the power of our mission ignite new beginnings and opportunities in the individuals we empower. We are optimistic in the impact we will be able to create in the communities we serve.

    FOUNDER & CEO

    Graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s in Business Management from Grand Canyon University, exemplifying her commitment to excellence academically. Professionally, you can find her serving and caring for people in the sky as a mainline Flight Attendant. Her professional experience has reinforced her belief in using influence, and personal achievements as tools to uplift others and inspire positive change.

    CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER (COO)

    As a founder and CEO of Markesh Assisted Living, an elderly home care business, Dupas leads with compassion and integrity. Her work has been defined by a deep commitment to personalized care ensuring that every individual she serves feels respected, supported, and valued.
