The crown may get people's attention. What you do beyond it creates your legacy.
On August 14, 2026, Heart of Sol Foundation welcomed beauty queens, businesses, community leaders, volunteers, family, friends, and supporters to Scottsdale, Arizona for Beyond the Crown 2026—an evening dedicated to beauty, leadership, service, community, and impact.
What originally began as an idea for a small gathering of family and friends to send Sol Tinio, Miss Elite Global USA 2026, off to Jakarta, Indonesia, grew into something much greater.
It became a celebration of women who use their crowns and platforms to serve others.
It became a space for businesses and community leaders to connect and be recognized for the impact they make.
It became the launchpad for an international humanitarian campaign.
And it became a reminder that you don't need a crown, title, or position to make a difference.
That is what it means to go Beyond the Crown.
More Than a Beauty Queen Showcase
Presented by Heart of Sol Foundation, Beyond the Crown was created around a simple question:
What are you going to do with the platform you've been given?
Heart of Sol Foundation's mission is to empower the next generation of leaders to become leaders of a better world through leadership development, civic engagement, education, and global service.
Beyond the Crown brought that mission to life.
The evening began by introducing the community to women whose accomplishments extend far beyond pageantry.
Celebrating Queens Who Go Beyond Their Crowns
The Beyond the Crown Beauty Queen Showcase welcomed five women to the runway:
Jogiel Piñero — Miss Bellevue USA 2022
An entrepreneur, singer-songwriter, fashion designer, and business leader, Jogiel uses her platform to combine creativity with service. Through her personal advocacy, Showing Love by Giving, she supports feeding initiatives for communities in need.
K Johnson — Miss Arizona USA 2024
A PMP-certified project manager, international triathlete, model, author, and advocate, K supports organizations dedicated to empowering women and children while showing others that beauty, ambition, and adventure have no age limit.
Christine Nguyen — Miss Grand Arizona 2025
A writer, storyteller, musician, and creative, Christine founded The Lantern Story Project, an initiative helping people transform difficult life experiences and trauma into new stories through perspective, meaning, and personal growth.
Roxanne Angeles — Mrs. Mindanao Arizona 2025
A Filipina community leader, entrepreneur, cultural advocate, and performing artist, Roxanne has dedicated much of her work to preserving Filipino culture, empowering women, serving her community, and encouraging others to lead with confidence and purpose.
Sol Tinio — Miss Elite Global USA 2026
Following her year as Miss Philippines USA Tourism 2025 and Miss Philippines USA First Runner-Up, Sol used pageantry as a catalyst for greater community involvement and ultimately founded Heart of Sol Foundation. Her advocacy centers on leadership, service, civic engagement, education, and creating opportunities for people to make a meaningful impact locally and globally.
Each woman walked the runway wearing her crown and sash, but the focus wasn't simply on what she had won.
It was on what she chose to do afterward.
Different titles. Different backgrounds. Different stories. Different causes.
But every woman on that runway had chosen to use her voice for something greater than herself.
Then, We Gave the Runway to the Community
After celebrating our queens, Beyond the Crown turned the spotlight toward the audience.
Guests were surprised with an invitation:
Tonight, YOU are walking the runway.
No pageant experience was required.
No evening gown was necessary.
There was only one requirement: the courage to own the runway.
Our beauty queens became the judges as members of the community competed for the titles of Miss Beyond the Crown 2026 and Mister Beyond the Crown 2026.
It was one of the most joyful parts of the evening—but behind the fun was an important message.
You don't need a title to make an impact.
You don't need permission to walk confidently into a room.
And you don't need a crown to recognize your own worth.
Sometimes, you simply need someone to remind you that you already belong on the runway.
Turning the Message Into Action
Beyond the Crown wasn't meant to stop at inspiration.
We wanted to show what going beyond your title, business, or platform can look like in action.
That evening, Heart of Sol Foundation and The Law Offices of Erik L. Mullins officially launched their Philippines Medical Mission and Feeding Outreach Campaign.
The Philippines holds a special place in the story of Heart of Sol Foundation. It is where founder Sol Tinio's own story began and remains an important part of the Foundation's global service efforts.
The September 1–2 initiative was created to bring resources directly into communities through medical outreach and the distribution of food and clean water to children and elderly community members.
But the campaign represented something larger than a single mission.
It demonstrated what can happen when businesses, nonprofit organizations, professionals, volunteers, and everyday people combine what they have to serve others.
One person may contribute financially.
Another may contribute a business or professional service.
Someone else may contribute their time.
Another may contribute knowledge, expertise, or connections.
Individually, those contributions may seem small.
Together, they can create something much greater.
We extend special gratitude to The Law Offices of Erik L. Mullins for believing in this mission and helping Heart of Sol Foundation turn the vision into action.
Celebrating the Businesses That Said “Yes”
Beyond the Crown could not have happened without the businesses and individuals who chose to stand behind the event, Heart of Sol Foundation, Team USA, and the greater community.
That is why sponsor recognition wasn't treated as a logo on a screen or a brief thank-you at the end of the program.
Our sponsors got crowns, too.
During the Beyond the Crown Sponsor Recognition & Awards Ceremony, sponsors were invited to the runway, presented with certificates, crowned and sashed, and given an opportunity to introduce their businesses and share how they hope their work positively impacts the community.
It was our way of recognizing an important truth:
Community impact doesn't happen alone.
It happens when businesses decide that success isn't only about what they can build for themselves—but also what they can help build for others.

It Took a Community
Behind every photograph from Beyond the Crown are people who were working long before guests walked through the doors.
Our volunteers helped transport materials, prepare food and refreshments, decorate the venue, organize sponsor tables, prepare awards, coordinate participants, assist our guests, and keep the evening moving.
Our photographers captured not only the polished moments on the runway, but also the people and preparation behind them.
Our DJ carried the energy of the evening.
Our beauty queens did much more than participate in the showcase—they helped crown sponsors, judge our community runway, celebrate our guests, and demonstrate what servant leadership through pageantry can look like.
Our Heart of Sol Foundation leadership and board members helped carry the mission behind the evening.
And our community showed up.
To every volunteer, queen, photographer, sponsor, partner, board member, friend, family member, and guest:
Thank you.
Beyond the Crown existed because you said yes.
From Arizona to the International Stage
The evening concluded where the original idea for Beyond the Crown had begun—with a send-off.
Only days after the event, Miss Elite Global USA 2026 Sol Tinio would leave Arizona for Jakarta, Indonesia, to represent the United States alongside women from countries around the world.
But the goal of that journey extended beyond competing for an international crown.
During her send-off speech, Sol reflected on what pageantry had already made possible.
Her previous reign with Miss Philippines USA had helped deepen her connection with the Filipino-American community and became a catalyst for greater involvement in civic leadership, humanitarian service, and ultimately the establishment of Heart of Sol Foundation.
The next goal was bigger.
To use an international platform to build relationships with people around the world who share Heart of Sol Foundation's vision.
To expand humanitarian efforts beyond a single country.
To build and fund a leadership development pipeline that prepares young leaders in the United States to lead effectively and confidently at home and around the world.
Winning a crown would be an incredible honor.
But the mission doesn't depend on one.
The work continues with or without a title.
What Will You Do Beyond Yours?
Beyond the Crown 2026 began as a send-off.
It became a showcase.
A networking event.
A celebration.
A runway competition.
A humanitarian campaign launch.
A sponsor recognition ceremony.
And ultimately, a gathering of people who believe that whatever platform we've been given—whether that's a crown, a company, a career, a talent, a position of leadership, or simply our own voice—can be used to help somebody else.
That is the legacy we hope Beyond the Crown leaves behind.
Because leadership isn't defined by what sits on your head.
Impact isn't measured by how many people know your name.
And service doesn't require a title.
The crown may get people's attention.
What you do beyond it creates your legacy.
From all of us at Heart of Sol Foundation, thank you to everyone who made Beyond the Crown 2026 possible.
This night belonged to all of us.
And the work beyond the crown continues.
